Power Audio Video DVD Converter is designed to convert your audio, video and DVD files to other formats, and profiles especially suited to other media players such as the Microsoft Zune and Apple TV.
The single panel program is pretty simple, with a viewing window for video, a table for adding files and a various conversion options. There are two ways of setting up conversions - formats and bit rates can be chosen manually, or you can choose from a range of profiles that set up the conversion options for specific devices.
This shareware version is limited to only one conversion at a time, and will only convert 2 minutes of any file. It seems unsuited to converting DVD, as if you attempt to import from a DVD can choose either the video or the audio file, which is unhelpful, to say the least!
For other video file formats, the converter seems to manage OK. On files we tested, while the video and audio quality was good they were somewhat out of sync. The viewing window is also dreadfully small. These things make Power Audio Video DVD Converter a very average tool for conversion.
There are much better conversion tools available than the limited imprecise Power Audio Video DVD Converter
